You may want to change the way you do the birthday thing. I don’t know a lot of people who are going to go to the trouble of copying their birth certificate to get fee ice cream. Just do as other companies do…ask for their email and send them an email offering them a free ice cream…simple
You can take a photo of the birth certificate with your phone and use that. =D
